Question:	this paint is sticky and hard to use ,what can I thin it out with
Answer:	if you have never used an oil based paint before you should consult someone at a local hardware store before starting your project. This type of paint, compared to latex, will seem sticky and harder to use. This oil based paint is 'rigid' to produce shine and be very durable to wear. If it really is thicker than it should be you can obtain an OIL BASED PAINT THINNER at your local hardware store. You may want to have someone experienced in oil based paints evaluate your can to see if it really does need thinning. Otherwise, yes, the product you need is usually called Paint Thinner, but could be called laquer thinner as well. You would also need product (or mineral spirits) to clean your pans/brushes or rollers. Unlike latex based paint products which dominate the market these days, soap and water cannot be used to clean up the applicators or any spills. You MUST use the appropriate oil based thinner for thinning and clean up with this product. However you should expect this to be thicker and more difficult to work with than latex based paint - if you thin it too much it will not dry properly and the durability of the product will be greatly reduced. Since this is door paint the durability factor is extremely important if you want it to withstand traffic, scratches, etc. and for your door to look nice many months or years down the road. You should also read ALL the precautions about saftety on the can as this will be high in VOC's and must be used with proper ventilation. If you are sensitive to chemical VOC's you may want to wear a respirator mask while using it and make sure that you are able to ventilate the area for 24 hours following use. This does not dry as fast as latex products and will 'stink' much longer than latex based paints as well.

Answer:	Sorry, but I didn't order this paint in Cranberry although looks nice. I ordered it in White (238311). I used a spray gun with it.

Answer:	Dont use acetone. You have to use xylene to thin epoxy. You can only thin this paint down to 5%. Any more than that and the finish will have a cracked look where the xylene will evaporate to quickly. This paint is very hard to use on smooth surfaces and get a good finish.

Answer:	Yes, I used it to spray some football pads for a Halloween costume. It turned out great. It went on evenly and never rubbed off. The color remained intact as well.

Answer:	If you go over the buckle lightly with steel wool, not hard enough to actually scratch it but enough to prepare the surface, your idea should work just fine.

Answer:	It should, I use it with bare sanded copper and fiberglass.

Answer:	When I paited this over primed and painted metal chairs, they get much shinier. It was not a "flat" finish.

Answer:	If there is visible rust on the metal, you should use something like rust cure or some other phosphorus acid solution that will kill the rust before applying the paint. You could just spray it, but the rust will likely come back and cause the paint to peel off.

Answer:	With a chain link fence you'll need a brush anyway to get the corner connections. You can try it, it did wonders with my fence and it's been almost a year now.

Application Method: Aluminum Restoration Solution is applied with a standard microfiber towel. Wet a section of the microfiber towel with Aluminum Restoration Solution at minimum 1” in diameter and wipe on the surface to be treated.

Application Tips:
