Answer:	I weeded vinyl professionally and never did use a light table. If you cut it correctly you don't need anything but an exact I knife. Even if it was negative that was kept still didn't need it. It should only take a minute to weed a 18" X 24" sheet with almost any size of lettering or designs.

Answer:	It does not have a battery so it has to be plugged into a computer or portable power charger via USB cable that came with it. I don't have the space by my computer for my projects I use my portable power chargee to plug it in. Works right away. Or you can use your own charging plug (not included) that plugs into the wall. USB cord is short so that's why I use my power charger.

Answer:	I would think it would do that. I use mine to trace onto fusible web for applique, but haven’t actually tried to trace direct onto fabric.

Answer:	No, the Ultra Thin Litenergy light boards come with a power cord that has a plug on one end like you use for a cell phone which plugs into the light board. The other end has a plug that fits into a USB port. You can purchase for about $6 a plug at any office supply store or online that you can plug the USB port into on one end and the other end has a plug for a wall receptacle. The one I purchased was $5 at Office Depot in USA and plugs into a 110v wall receptacle. Works great. I imagine you can purchase an adapter for 220v as well.

Answer:	There’s a little white square with a funny design in it on the black portion of the screen facing you. You’re going to press on that after plugging in the USB port. IF it doesn’t work like that, your computer may not provide enough power from the port to supply it so grab one of your phone box converters & plug it in to regular power in the wall. (You know, the little 5V box converters that come with all of our cell phones now days?) I use mine that way sometimes too cuz my tablet PC doesn’t supply enough power though my laptop does, so I know it’ll work without hurting. I hope this helped.

A piece of white plastic would probably be even better, like from a fluorescent light or something.

Answer:	It does not charge it has to be plugged in the whole time. The one I have broke charging port came out the second time I used it, the charging port is not very securely fastened inside of the actual tracing plate.

Answer:	It doesn't have any hot spots it lights entirely. Not sure about photography thought as the light is bright enough to trace a drawing, but not sure it would be bright enough as a backlight source! Unless it's a totally dark surrounding and for a small object. I hope that helps.
