Answer:	Yes your older computer can use this scanner, because the cable that connects the scanner to the computer has an USB 3.0 Type-A connector which is the part that goes into the computer whilst the other end which is an USB type-C connector goes into the scanner.
Question:	Would this be good for an 8 year old
Answer:	Not without folding, scanning several times and using the software feature provided to "stitch" the images together. I have not tried this so cannot comment on how well it works.
Question:	What weight is the paper
Answer:	I have scanned a fair amount of photos with this scanner and the results are pretty good. It works as well as any scanner. Much depends on the quality of your old photos and how much time you are willing to invest in post scanning touch-up. Please note that the software that comes with the scanner is pretty barebones. It scans and that it is. No touching up, cropping, etc. You will need to get a third-party solution for that.

Answer:	I would think it would do that. I use mine to trace onto fusible web for applique, but haven’t actually tried to trace direct onto fabric.

Answer:	No, the Ultra Thin Litenergy light boards come with a power cord that has a plug on one end like you use for a cell phone which plugs into the light board. The other end has a plug that fits into a USB port. You can purchase for about $6 a plug at any office supply store or online that you can plug the USB port into on one end and the other end has a plug for a wall receptacle. The one I purchased was $5 at Office Depot in USA and plugs into a 110v wall receptacle. Works great. I imagine you can purchase an adapter for 220v as well.

They are very smooth, not hard at all！The success you have as far as painting with them will depend on your paper of course,and these pencils fill in nicely for different color choices and workability. You can use them wet or dry as both work well. Another thing is they don't change color when activated with water. What you put down is what you will get. Answer:	Mine did not smudge.
Question:	what kind of tip do these have
Answer:	very fine, 0.38mm. super smooth. I work in the Medical field and use it for charting! I may buy it again.
Question:	Do they blead through paper
Answer:	They only bleed through thin paper if you try to color with these pens, but regular printer paper they do not bleed through. When I write with these pens on thin paper, they do not bleed through so if you're using them to write, you should be fine.

Answer:	Yes. So good. I absolutely love them. They have a very fine tip. I write with them like I would a pen.
