Answer:	Pretty sure you could! It is pretty long when you measure from top to bottom. BTW - Very nice quality! I bought it as a gift for my neighbor.

Answer:	Sorta....lining pretty good...outside not....very sturdy and able to carry quite a bit of weight...use it for plein air painting....can carry 18x24 gator board and easel...I have one fo watercolor and one for oils

Answer:	I personally think your 20x24" canvas would fit. It would be tight though. BUT this bag is soft, so it would bend unless you put something flat and study in it also.
