Letter-by-Letter Exercise: 'Courage'
Pencil in the letters.
Trace over the letters with a pen.
Erase the lines. Instead of doubling up all the lines, I added loose lines to the inside left and outside right of each letter.
Add details, such as tiny lines, in the white space between the doubled-up lines.
Now it's time for you to practice drawing letters and words. Mix up the upper- and lowercase letters with different styles, and practice, practice, practice.

The word "key" jumped out to me in this verse, and I knew that doodling a little key would be just right. I simply took a key off my key ring, traced it with a pencil, and then went over the lines with a pen. To finish, I erased the pencil marks and doubled up the lines.

To carve out a letter or word, the image needs to be in reverse so that it reads the right way once it is stamped.
Using Color
When I add color, I don’t “paint” in strokes. I simply blot the brush and move color around the art. This eliminates streaks and lines; it also makes it easy to start and stop.

There are many ways to document and illustrate your faith journey. I've found that creating art and journaling on an alternate page and adding it into my Bible takes away the anxiety of the question, 'What if I mess up?'

| Answer: | It really depends on how many die-cuts and how many papers you add to your cards. Some people have made 20 cards out of a kit. As an average, you should be able to get at least 12-14 cards per kit. |

| Answer: | The sentiments have to be cut out and are on thinner paper - same thickness as the background paper. Everything else is on thicker paper and you punch them out. |
