There are straps inside (much like a suitcase has) to help hold things more securely. Just remember that soft sided means soft sided. There is really no structure to the edges/sides. If you want to protect the edges of your poster boards more, I was able to stuff bubble wrap around the edges. |

I used to have an older portfolio whose sides seemed thicker, but for the price it works just as well for me! Hope that helps! |
