I am an agile 62 year old who has sewn, knitted, and crocheted and done woodworking all her life, but since there were no instructions and various directions the yarn could go, it took a few stops and starts before I got it figured out. The instructions that were available were of no help at all.

Answer:	The listed dimensions of 6.2" x 2.8" almost seems like the dimensions of the package. The item itself is closer to 1.5". As you can see in the 4th picture on the item page, the height of the counter is 1.9".

Answer:	I think worsted weight is best. The thinner yarns make a somewhat flimsy "rope."

Answer:	This can be a great tool for I-cord. It is a little bit loose, but works pretty well for it. My grand-daughter (age 7) found it easy to use.

Answer:	The Embellish Knit is more of an "automatic" type, where the pegs go up and down with the crank. The Wonder Knitter is stationary, and more like the original spool knitters, pegs on a spool, to do tube knitting.
Question:	I got the three prong off easy as pie, switched to the six prong, but I can't get that one off
Answer:	you may have the yarn wound too tightly around the prongs- don't pull to hard.

Answer:	I've used the pom pom maker with a couple of different weights of yarn, so I imagine it would work fine with embroidery thread. To get a full-bodied pom pom , you'll need to wrap a couple of layers on the pom pom maker.

Answer:	I honestly do not know as I just wind until it is full. However I think you can probably make 12 with one 4oz skien as it only takes a few yards for each pom-pom using worsted weight yarn but may take more with a lighter ply and I like my pompoms full. Hope this helps.
Question:	How big are the pom poms made by these
Answer:	They're about 2 to 3 inches in diameter, between the two of them. I've been pleased with all my pom-pom makers, except for the heart shaped one. That one is too small, too much shaping involved. But these are great.
Question:	Any advice on keeping the Pom Pom from pulling apart? ( individual strands from pulling through if tugged on
Answer:	Use dental floss instead of yarn when tying it off, since dental floss is thin and doesn't break. If need be, wrap the ends of the floss around something (like wooden spoon handles) to give you extra "torque" when pulling it. I think whether you use yarn or or something else, the trick is to pull it very tight before you knot it. Do it more than once, I like to make a knot, then wrap the floss around the second time and knot again. Also, no matter how tight you make the pom pom, if someone is intent on pulling out a strand of yarn they'll be able to do so.

Answer:	Sure. It's adhesive, so you position it to the right of the needle at the distance away from the needle that you want your seam allowance to be. I use mine on my old Singer Featherweight 221 and it's a very small machine.

Answer:	I have just started using this wonderful tool and all I can say is that I wish I had this years ago! I will always have one and yes, the backing is easily rejuvenated with washing as threads and such stick. I washed it with a little hand soap I was lathered with, rinse and voila, one of the best products I have ever used!

However, I did check the specs on that Clover Desktop Needle Threader and found it to say this: Simply drop your needle in (any needle except tiny quilt petites) rest your thread in the slot press the button and you will have your pre-threaded needle.Good luck with your sewing.

Answer:	Millners work very well for bouillon stitches. They are a very straight needle with little to no taper so pull through a bouillon very nicely.

Answer:	If you make a full pom it took half a skein of standard acrylic: the 7 oz size skein. That's a thick, not floppy pom.
