Question:	can I add some almond oil or jojoba oil to the melted soap base? If yes, what's the max amount
Answer:	I have added almond extract (for fragrance), and it works just fine. I use other essential oils too, and they work for me. I don't measure, but a teaspoon for every 2 cups or so should work if you want to add the oil for the fragrance. If you want to add it for some other reason, I would suggest you don't do it because the soap base is just perfect the way it is.
Question:	How long can I store this soap base? Want to use around Christmas time
Answer:	I had mine on hand for at least 2 months before I used it. It is such a high quality soap. I really think it would be fine to wait until Christmas, but check with the manufacture if you are really worried. about it.
Question:	Are your products free of animal testing
Answer:	The label lists the ingredients on the block of Goat’s Milk soap but it does not indicate anywhere on the label whether it is or is not tested on animals.
Question:	Why does someone say there is lye in this goats milk soap, when it does not state it under their ingredients
Answer:	No Lye, No Soap! Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is necessary to make soap. Oils + Water + Lye -> SoapAfter the saponification process, no free lye is left in the soap, it's all gone through the chemical reaction to make become soap. :)

Question:	Can this mold also be used for making candles
Answer:	Good question. I guess it could be used for candles, the hot wax won’t hurt it, but you would have to rig something for the wick. To be honest, if I were you, I would just buy a candle mold or jars for my candles. Best of luck my friend.

Answer:	NO, this is food soaping only!
Question:	Has anyone use this mold for commercial use? I have received my order and now I’m worried that it might be too small
Answer:	I have been using to make soap to sell and I think it's fine. I get about 8 to 9 bars that are 1 inch thick and two and a half pounds of soap give me about an average of 4.2 Oz per bar and I might be pretty sure that the mold can probably hold a little closer to 3 lb but I haven't quite tried that yet so I stick to the more two and a half pounds of soap plus any extra ingredients like fragrance or colorants.
Question:	How can a rookie beginner learn how to make soap? I have no idea what im doing but I want to learn as soon as possible
Answer:	Well, first off you might consider watching soapmaking videos on you tube. There are also a few great books on the subject for 10 or 15 bucks each. Then, you will feel more comfortable ordering supplies. Most soaps are easily made by keeping your ingredients list to a minimum. Dont get too crazy at first. Make a few small batches, when you find a recipe that works for you, you can double or triple it later. Also, maybe consider starting with MP (melt and pour). Its a great way to enter the soapmaking world. Before you know it youll be ordering FOs, EO, new molds etc! But be sure its something you really want to get into because you can spend 500 to 1k buying supplies, oils, butters, scale, molds, essential oils, micas, piping bags and tips, pots, pitchers, cutters, bags, books, labels, powders, clays, salts, fragrance oils, stick blender, mixer, containers etc.. The list can get as big as your budget if you let it. Ive seen all kinds of soapers, some use the best, others brag about getting 12 bucks worth of supplies from the dollar store to make a few pounds of soap. Ive been soaping for 6 months now and Ive spent over a grand on the "hobby". I dont sell, I just enjoy making soap as an art form currently. Thank god I have a good day job! I say jump in, you will love having some pretty awesome homemade soaps! Oh yah, if you do try cold processed soap from scratch you will need to build and enter your recipe into soapcalc.net or the likes. Its important to measure your ingredients precisely as they were entered into soapcalc. It determines how much lye and water you will need for said recipe. You may want to do a water reduction for a faster firmer bar that requires less curing time. Anyways, I can continue this forever. Good luck on your soaping journey!

Question:	Can you mix these without alcohol to make alcohol inks
Answer:	You can take epoxy and mix a small amount of mica and it will then become similar to alcohol inks, but it becomes a one time use (this is how I've made some of my tumblers). so just make small batches. Hope that helps some.

Answer:	I’ve had some pieces I made inside but in direct sunlight for months and there haven’t been any changes in coloration.

Answer:	no not really. it makes about a 4 oz bar that is probably comparable to a bar of ivory soap. i don't think the depth would be enough to cover a small figure.
Question:	I am new to soaping and just bought this and am excited to use. Do I need to place this mold in a box or can I just pour and use the mold
Answer:	Just pour and it’s all done! However, I do recommend if you’re going to be taking it somewhere else to dry (ie. Traveling from outside to inside), place the mold on a hard portable surface like a book or a plate so it will be more storage while you’re moving it.

Answer:	Hi Collette, What size boxes are your looking to fill and will u be placing something in them?

Answer:	They are thicker and do not tear easily, but being paper I wouldn't use "sturdy" to define them. I used them as filler for bridesmaid proposal boxes and they looked great, filled the space nicely, and the bag has a ton in it (I used maybe 1/5 of the bag for 7 pencil boxes full).

Answer:	I have used mine for lotion bars, which are softer than soap, and they pop out easily once they are solid. They are made of silicone, not plastic, so are very flexible. They can be turned inside out if needed to get the bars out and popped back once done without damaging the mold.

Question:	Is this dairy free
Answer:	To be honest I'm not exactly sure but I believe it is dairy free. I didn't see any dairy products in the ingredients. I made breastmilk soap using this because my kids sensitivities and it works great. You might want to contact the seller to be sure.

Answer:	Not 100% certain about the goat milk, but you can mix it with the glycerin. I made mixes with both liquid and solid glycerin and it turned out fine.

Question:	Are pesticides used in the growing process
Answer:	Absolutely you can mix our mica powders into any paint medium, including acrylics. As for ratios, really it all depends on the effect your after, but be aware that you don't need much pigment to create a stunning pearlescent effect in your paint. Just experiment till your happy with the results :)

Answer:	It did not come with any spoon/scoop. We just used small teaspoons to measure.

Answer:	The melt and pour ready to used soap is great. All I do is test its PH before using it other than that it's ready to use as soon as it sets up and solidifies. My wife love to give it way as gifts so it doesn't last on the shelf very long. I have several different batches already made and I keep them on a baking cooling rack lined with wax paper and I keep them individually wrapped in wax paper. I store them in a cabinet drawer for long storage after they have fully cured.
