Answer:	Here's what the directions say about finishes: "Once completely dry, you can apply the glaze or semi-matte sealant (brushes on white, dries clear). Only 1-2 very thin layers are required. Also, acrylic paints can be applied directly to the casting stone and the glaze or matte sealant can be applied as a final coat."

Answer:	The length of the foot casting container is 4.5 inches. If the foot will fit, then the age doesn't matter. Wiggling ok as long as the foot (or hand) stays submerged in the material until it is fully set. The molding material is unique in that it is sticky on the skin while in the pre-set phase then once it is set, it is slippery against the skin and separates cleanly.

Answer:	Yes you mix the ingredients with cold water. It’s not too overwhelming but it will depend on her sensitivity. You do have to hold still in the liquid 10-12 minutes as it hardens around your hands.

Question:	What is the casting material? What is the final product made of
Answer:	The casting material is our special recipe alginate (which is a seaweed extract), created to capture every skin detail. The final product is made of a special recipe stone, which is similar to Plaster of Paris, but created especially for this purpose to be stronger/longer-lasting.
Question:	I want to put this in a Glass dome display but what size dome size dimensions should I purchase
Answer:	Depending on the size of your hands you could use anything from small to large . Measure your piece from bottom to top adding a little extra. Then look on amazon, they sell several sizes that are beautiful! Good luck and enjoy your art.
Question:	Is it latex free
Answer:	Yes, our kits are latex-free. We include a pair of gloves that are latex-free vinyl in order to mix the stone powder, and none of the other elements contain latex either :).
Question:	Hi! i just received my kit! :-) the instructions say that the mold sets quickly. how can i get the most working time with the molding materials
Answer:	Thanks for the great question! Alginate sets quickly, which is perfect for working with young children. If you need a little more working time, you can use cooler water (temperature guides are provided in your kit instructions booklet). Warmer water will make the alginate set quicker, so it's best not to guess the temperature. If you don't have a thermometer handy, just use cold water.
