Answer:	The mat and ruler are made in Taiwan and the knife is China. There are very few knife factories outside of China. All xacto knives are made in China.

Answer:	Yes. I have been using it to cut through two layers of fabric with batting in between. It does have a tendency to ‘collect’ threads around the blade. I just carefully wipe it off and continue to cut.

Answer:	I'm not really sure. Haven't tried to iron on it.

Answer:	One side has an orange plastic ring(washer) the other has a raised round nut. Unscrew the nut and the blade and ring shaft will come out carefully take the round blade off the shaft. Put the new blade on the cutter exactly where you took the used blade off. Push the shaft through the cutter then screw the round ring nut back on tightly. Be sure to dispose of the used blade inside something else to avoid getting cut when disposing. I hope this is a clear description.

Answer:	Any craft glue works--I prefer and buy Aleene's clear gel tacky glue - which is an all-purpose adhesive. I do a lot of crafting so I buy the "easy squeeze" larger bottle--sits with the cap down so all the glue is ready at the tip--never clogs or dries up. I will also make a small puddle of glue on a piece of foil--where I will dip the quilling paper ends right into it--fast and easy! Hope this helps....

Question:	is there a pattern for vegetables
Answer:	This is used for a single loop. You can make a small loop, the next size up loop, and so on - but they are not attached. If I would guess what you are thinking is 3D or to fill a shape. This would not be the tool. You might think of using the Quill On-Quilling Mould-Green-Make Quick and Uniform Shapes for 3D Quilling. I use these tools just to start a design. Honestly, I use these tools when working with wire and no the intended paper use. These are perfect for wire designs.
Question:	What size range are the shapes ? Approx length x width at top and bottom of a few shapes would be helpful as the shapes appear to be similar sizes
Answer:	The tower fits snugly on the inside of the handle, and the handle is smooth so it moves easily in your hand to turn it. If you are wrapping with force/pulling it may turn. But I haven't had it happen.
Question:	Can you only create a single loop, or wrap the paper around multiple times
Answer:	I’ll do my best. The place where you place your quilling strip has a large screw that hold the size of the paper in place. It looks like you can move the screw to alternate holes based on your needs (if you’re doing volume of one size…one at a time.) The white ends sticking out on each side is what you press down when inserting your paper….insert the paper to the end under the bar that holds it in place. The tall screws on top adjust the width of the fringe (cut) and the length of the cut. I think the left screw is width and the right is for length. And as you can see, the handle is the cut. The best thing to do is play with the adjustments to figure out what you need for the size paper you are using. By the way, I didn’t get any instructions either……I guess they think we know how these tools work before we get them……I didn’t know either. Fortunately I already had one from a different company and it, also, did not come with instructions….so I sort of knew a little bit about how they worked from playing with the adjustments. But that one had limitations on the size paper it would fringe. Long story short, I hope this helps you out. I like this fringer better than the first one I purchase. It does a good job once you get it figured out.

Answer:	You can't really quill with cardstock, it's too thick. The reason for this is because it wouldn't curl smoothly it would get creases because it is too thick. You need to use quilling paper already cut, or use paper. I use copy paper and cut it with a shredder, but I also buy ready cut quilling paper.

Question:	What is the bottom of the board used for
Answer:	The sellers of these are from China I believe. Not sure why they described it as a knitting board but my guess is its because it vaguely resembles knitting as you weave paper strips in and out of the metal sticks that you place in the hole depending on the design you have in mind. In my opinion, knitting is an inaccurate word to use to describe quilling techiniques. Maybe sellers see the metal sticks as equivalent to knitting needles.

Answer:	Not actual word instructions. There are 6 photos printed on the back of the box that this comes in -- which shows you a handful of ways to position pins and use the linear slots on the board. But you can find tutorials and ideas on how to position pins to produce a certain design on you tube, books and elsewhere. But its really up to your creativity to decide how you want to position the pins to create a particular shape you want. This board is just an aid. In the past, people would hammer nails into a wooden board in a particular pattern to quill, for example, a wheat, flower petals, etc. - especially if they need to make several of them. Instead of doing all that, this board with holes and pegs makes it an easier task. I have two of these so that while I'm waiting for glue to dry on one board, I can start quilling o the other. Actually I wished someone offers a much bigger board (6 X 6" or 12 x 12" ) with 50 or 100 pins - so one can do several quilled pieces at same time. Its gets a little too tight for my fingers to quill multiple pieces on a small board like this.

Answer:	Hello there, We usually use E-pens to roll paper strips, which a little thicker than A4 paper. I don't know what the hardness of your light card is, so I am not sure if it can. Answer:	I haven’t used that one yet. I’m new to this. I used the hand one until I got better at making flowers. My card stock was from Walmart the 12by 12 it didn’t have a weight to it

Answer:	Honestly, there are more than a few YouTube videos to help you. I have used mine for over 6 months and never needed any instructions. Everything you need to make about 90% is in this kit. Try it, you'll wonder why it took you this long to learn quilling.

Answer:	There were no directions in the kit I bought. I googled "paper quilling" and watched YouTube/Pinterest videos to learn how to use everything.
