Answer:	Plenty of room for thumbs of most sizes. If you’re comfortable using 2 fingers in the larger opening you’re also good. I’m a fairly small woman & 3 fingers just fit comfortably in the larger opening. Great scissors though.

Answer:	No it doesn’t. I’m sure that any product that comes with a sheath would say it in the description. I’m sure if you type in scissors with sheath, you’d find something. Good luck!

Answer:	I am 78 yrs old and don't have a lot of strength in my hands. I use these scissors all the time with no problem. They are nice and sharp and cut very well. If they are too tight you can just loosen the screw. I have used Fiskars for years. When they get dull I just order another pair, They are reasonable. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	Yes, there is a screw on the scissors, and I imagine that it's purpose is to readjust the scissors, either to tighten or loosen the cut. I have purchased several pairs of Westcott Scissors over the years, for home as well as business use, and have never had a problem.
