| Answer: | I love them because they are not too heavy to work with. I haven't used them on wool or anything heavy like that but I think they would do pretty good. The handles fit my hands nicely. But most of all they cut sharp and clean. It is important to have sharp shears when you are cutting. This may sound bad but my Mother had a pair of shears (not Fiskars) and we spent a lot of time & money having them sharpened. | Answer: | I have never heard of Italian Gingher. These are made in America as far as I know, but so manyy companies have gone overseas to save money it's hard to know what is being made where. Where ever these are made I still rate them the best. All my sewing scissors are gingher. I have the seam ripper in my watch box for my next purchase. Hope this helps. |
