Natural Wax: Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honeybees. It is created in their wax glands and is used by bees to build honeycomb cells within their hives.
Purity: Pure beeswax is a clean and natural material. It typically has a golden to yellowish-brown color and a faint, pleasant honey scent.
Clean Burning: Beeswax is known for its clean-burning properties. When used in candles, it produces minimal smoke and soot, making it a preferred choice for those who want a healthier and cleaner indoor environment.
Candle Making: Beeswax is a popular choice for candle making. It can be melted and molded into various candle shapes and sizes. Beeswax candles have a natural, warm glow and a slow, even burn.
Crafting: Beeswax is widely used in crafting projects. It can be molded into shapes, used for sealing and waterproofing, or incorporated into various craft items like ornaments and sculptures.
Art and Embellishments: Artists often use beeswax in a technique called encaustic painting. This involves melting beeswax with pigments and using it as a medium to create textured and layered artworks.

Preservation: Beeswax has natural preservative properties and can be used to protect and maintain the condition of items like wooden furniture, cutting boards, and leather goods.
Cosmetics and Skincare: Beeswax is a common ingredient in natural cosmetics and skincare products. It provides a thickening and emollient effect, making it useful in lip balms, lotions, and creams.
Food Wraps: Beeswax-coated fabric is used to create reusable food wraps as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap. These wraps can be molded and shaped to cover food items.
Health and Wellness: Beeswax has been used in various natural remedies and therapies. It's sometimes incorporated into products like salves and balms for its soothing properties.
Scented Creations: Beeswax can be infused with essential oils or natural fragrances to create scented wax products for aromatherapy or simply to add pleasant scents to the environment.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is it really organic |
Answer: | It is very nice quality, but they didn't say. This is a question for the seller/manufacturer. Google it to go to the website for this info. |
Question: | Can i melt this in the microwave |
Answer: | It isn't "Plant Guru"; it's just Chinese beeswax pellets. They can apparently say anything they want to. |
Question: | Is the product made in the USA |
Answer: | Hi Thanks so much for your question about the Vintage Candy Co. Thank You Gift! If you are concerned about a nut allergy, please use caution when ordering any candy. Candies including some of the ones in our gift box, are made in facilities that use milk, egg, treenuts, wheat and peanuts. With that disclaimer, several of the candies in our box include peanuts or peanut butter products, such as: Abba-Zaba, Big Hunk, Boston Baked Beans, Chick-O-Stick, Mary Jane, Squirrel Nut Zippers. Bit O Honey is made with Almonds. Also, other candies that don't have peanuts, are still made in the formerly mentiond facility that uses peanuts, an example of this is Red Hots. This is not necessarily an exhaustive list but the obvious ones are listed for you here. Please exercise caution and please refer to the manufacturers for further specific product info. |
Question: | Why does the description say it's a plant guru product and use the exact same description but the brand and package does not look like plant guru |
Answer: | Hi, Thanks for your question! Our Thank You Candy Gift Box includes over 50 unique Vintage Candy Types and has been upgraded to include over 75 total pieces of candy. Some of the candies are full size while others are small taste samples, so the distribution around the office may not seem fairly balanced. For this reason, we recommend purchasing two or three to make sure everyone gets something they like (it really depends on the office size). Thanks for the question! |

Question: | What is the difference between the white beeswax and yellow beeswax bars |
Answer: | I suppose but melting wax in a microwave can be tricking. I'd use a large glass measure cup in a pan of simmering water off you don't have a double boiler. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this beeswax ethically sourced |
Answer: | I used it in salves and lotion but know of no reason why it would not be fine for chapstick. I plan on making lip balms and will use it. |
Question: | Hi. I'm looking for a wax to use in lotion bars. I see differing opinions on the smell of this wax. How should I decide if your wax is right for me |
Answer: | You can't. I had to return mine because it was useless to me. I now exclusively use wax from Hansi Organics. No chemical smell - it's actually pure. This is misrepresented as a product. You can find Hansi Orfanics wax on Amazon or through their own website. |
Question: | is it good for chapstick |
Answer: | no |
Question: | How do I remove the chemical smell |
Answer: | i wouldnt use on wood boards as wax traps bacteria i would use a first treatment of boiled linseed oil then mineral oil not wax |
