Honeybees pollinate fields of wildflowers; clovers; trees; and a wide variety of plant life which all contribute to the unique attributes that differ between every batch of beeswax. The color and scent of beeswax is determined by what the honeybees are pollinating, so color and scent can vary from batch to batch. Answer:	My package, unlike the product picture, says "Product of India." And if you've ever been to India, you'll recognize the smell.
Question:	Since no chemicals are used in making honey pellets, why does is smell so artificial ? It has non of the natural honey smell what so ever
Answer:	My guess is that we're smelling other rancid fats and waxes that the producer uses to "pad out" the product, assuming it contains any beeswax at all. I would characterize the smell as old, plant-based furniture polish without a trace of beeswax/honey smell. As for the other answers: first, real beeswax does indeed have a light honey smell--ask any apiarist or get access to the real stuff to compare; second, the smell is not from the bag and persists after sitting out for days.
Question:	Does anyone know if this product can be used to make home made deodorant
Answer:	Never heard of using beeswax in deodorant. But I wouldn't use this for anything. While the wax may be non-toxic, the bag reeks of chemicals which then permeate the product. This is my fave homemade deodorant: 3 tsp Arrowroot Powder (or cornstarch) 3 tsp Baking Soda 2 drops: Lavender Essential Oil 2 drops: Rosemary Essential Oil 3 drops: Vanilla Essential Oil Blend (NOW brand) * Mix thoroughly in a bowl, then pot in 2oz jar. Use a cosmetics pad to pull powder up & pat onto underarms.

Answer:	Absolutely! We use it for candles. It burns longer and cleaner than paraffin because of its higher melting point. You’ll typically want to use a square braid wick.
Question:	i heard beeswax is good for attracting honey bees. would this product work
Answer:	I can tell you that when filtering we have a LOT of bees coming to see our wax. It will attract honeybees, but I think flowers do a better job. They're coming after the honey, and this still smells like honey (even after we filter it. That being said, this is USA wax, so it is the same wax used for foundation in beehives.

Answer:	No, I’m sorry. I am not aware of any white beeswax originating in the USA. Not to say it can’t happen, but it would be very uncommon. Beeswax gets its natural color from the pollen that the bees collect.

Answer:	Hi, I'm not sure what you are removing from, nevertheless, we suggest this: How to remove beeswax / beeswax residue from a surface: 1. Use the low heat setting on a hair dryer to soften the beeswax 2. Wipe away the softened wax with a clean and dry microfiber cloth 3. Repeat until the wax is removed 4. Mix a few drops of dishwashing soap with warm water, 5. Dampen your microfiber cloth with the soapy water and gently clean the area where the wax sat to remove any leftover residue 6. Use a dry microfiber cloth to absorb the remaining liquid and buff any streaks. I hope that helps. Don

Question:	Should I use the the yellow or white beeswax for making moisturizer
Answer:	It really only changes the color of what you're making. I've used both colors for foods, candles, crafts, and skincare and can confidently say that is the only difference. If you're adding dyes (particularly light or bright colors), go for the white to make that DIY step easier. If you're okay with whatever natural color it ends up (or using darker brown/black dye), yellow will work great!

Answer:	I’m thinking not as you’d have to melt it to coat and in that form it would adhere to whatever you baked but I may not understand what you were askin.

Answer:	Its certified, but having “100% pure“ beeswax that smells like off-gassing plastic has me questioning what good the organic cert is now. This is not pure beeswax at the very least and for sure the company selling this is unethical/incompetent.

Answer:	Beeswax can't really be organic. A bee travels in a 3-5 mile radius every day. The all of the soil in that distance would have to be tested and proven to have not ever had pesticides and whatnot in it. Not sure any company has a big enough bee ranch for that. I'd stay away from this brand and Google bee farms near you instead. I bought this and it smelled like plastic and burnt wax. It was awful

Answer:	If this is as advertised - 100 percent beeswax without additives, yes. Please contact the seller and ask if there are additives. I say this because sellers don’t want to hear that a customer used the product for hair care and then the customer’s hair fell out. Hair loss can be from a thyroid condition, other hair care products like perms, and more. I recommend changing how the question is worded. The key words are additives and purity. Ask what additives are used to preserve the wax. Ask about the purity of the wax because some people are allergic to pollen. Hope this helps because I’d like to know the answer too.
