Answer:	It is possible,however I find this reed to be very thin and difficult to work with. Dry it cracks, wet it curls. When you find the right amount of moisture,it’s ok.

Answer:	This is a terrible mistake! You should ask the manufacturer to send the instructions because patterns differ and because this pattern is specific to the size and shape of this particular basket! With instructions, it is still a bit difficult but manageable.

Cutting the full recipe in half is perfectly possible, simply divide everything by two. Save the remainder of the wort in the refrigerator, in an airtight jar/pot (of course, not in the original can).

Answer:	What do you mean? If you are weaving a seat, yes
Question:	Is this the same material that is used on a longaberger basket
Answer:	No. Longaberger baskets are made out of maple. This reed comes from rattan... imported from Southeast Asia. Over the past few years, the quality of reed has really declined. You have to look at your order carefully when you receive it. Commonwealth is generally good, but last summer I ordered some through Amazon and the quality was so bad I sent it back. I wasn't even sure they'd give me credit for it but I thought they should have the opportunity to throw it in the garbage themselves. It was really terrible! They did replace it even though I had opened the package, and the new reed I got was okay. You just have to be ready to check it out when you receive it to make sure it is not flimsy and/or hairy.Good luck.
