Answer:	Yes, this lens is perfect for looking at flowers. I'm a botanist and came on Amazon to replace my B&L Hastings Triplet 10x with this lens that I've heard great things about.

Answer:	I use this loop for determining the grain size of rocks, some grains are smaller than 1mm and this loop allows me to see those fine grains with no problem. Based on this I would imagine that it would work great for seeing the small details in plants.

It's cheaper because maybe the materials are not the lightest in weight and also because of where it's made you pick up value in the currency translation if you are buying in US. Also, I would think for a loupe, 10X would be the maximum I would consider in the field for prospecting. I would even consider 7X for a loupe. If I was bringing sample home or to a lab I would use a stereo microscope with good lighting and a zoom from 10X to 35 or 40X.

Answer:	It's not really a neck strap. There is a strap that goes around the back of your head to hold the glasses on. You take the little arms off that go behind your ears in order to use the strap.

If you've never used one you've probably seen people in movies looking at diamonds with a big monocle in one eye and a diamond an inch or two from his face.

Anything higher magnification and you won't be able to use both lenses at the same time. If you are looking for a pair of glasses that will let you do that, good luck. Answer:	Nowhere on the magnifier or the exterior packaging does it state origin of manufacturer. It arrives in a tape sealed plastic bag. Next is a ring sized box. Next is the leather case. Inside the leather case is the tissue paper-wrapped magnifier. It's highly unlikely this will break in shipping!

Answer:	took loupe apart to find plastic lense. however, it is worth the money in my opinion.
