How many pliers it holds depends on what type you'll be using. This batch of 14 is comprised mostly of chainmaille, flat-nosed and wire-cutters. These all take up minimal space on the rack and am easily able to keep pliers organized and find the ones needed when working. For specialty pliers like dimpling,, bent nose, crimping, forming pliers (e.g. Wubbers brand triangle, square, anticlastic, etc.) and looping pliers, I'll get about 9-10 on one of the racks. This is including a realistic space so tools don't scratch each other. I also bought a third acrylic pliers rack in order to have all the pliers needed ready to go for whichever project I'm working on at that time. This really helps when you're in the middle of performing a difficult task and you don't have to hunt down a particular pair of pliers. Hope you find this information helpful. |

| Answer: | They must be referring to the size of the tubes compared to the size of the apertures on the crimp tool. For example the Mighty Crimper tool would be much too large; the regular crimper might be OK. I use the regular crimper on 2 mm tubes; it was too large for 1 mm tubes. I am not sure about 1.5 mm tubes. Note: I use the Mighty Crimper on larger tubes and the front or toward the end of the tube to put 2, 2.5, 3 mm crimp covers over crimps. Hope that helps. |
