Answer:	The color of ice has to do with the clarity of the water to start with. It has nothing to do with the freezing component.

Answer:	You have to manually fill it with water. I have a Tupperware batter bowl that holds 8 cups. When the water is running low, I fill it up and pour it into the reservoir that holds the water. Had it for two hot summers and it has been going strong. I highly recommend purchasing this ice maker!
Question:	Does the ice tray dump the ice once it's frozen and then refill the ice tray to make more? OR do you have to manually empty the tray
Answer:	The machine makes 8 or 10 little donuts of ice every 5 minutes or so and dumps it into a holding basket. When the basket is full it shuts itself off. However the basket needs to be emptied into your freezer to hard freeze. The ice fingers are very watery and melty until set in a freezer. They have a tendency to freeze together in the fridge's freezer. I have to break them apart to use them later.

Answer:	The 4 oz per 1 gallon of water applies to larger machines so depending on size of machine in other words for countertop ice makers it would be 4 oz or one use. For larger makers like undercounter or standalone the 4 oz per gallon of water applies.

Answer:	The water valve is already installed in your refrigerator, and is actuated by signals from the ice maker, thru the electric plug.
Question:	am having trouble with my ice not dropping into the bin the ice maker works fine but I am having to clear the ice even when the bin is empty
Answer:	I had the same problem. Ice was sitting on top of the mechanism - I think it was getting caught up with the arm and flap. I removed the plastic flap on the ice-sensor arm (front of the unit) and it seems to be working fine now. I'll have to see how it does when the tray is full. Also, the ice seems a bit smaller (30-40%) than the original unit it replaced. Not an issue for me.
Question:	Will this ice maker replace WR30X
Answer:	I replaced my WR30X10012 (GE Profile) with this because the price was right, and it's working fine. It's a slightly different design, but it fits and works fine. I did have to remove the plastic flap on the overfill arm, which is easily removed.

Answer:	That really depends on the size of your big ice chest. In practice, I've found that this basket holds just under a pound of ice before the sensor gets blocked and shuts it down. It will hold about 1.5 pounds if you shake the basket and level out the ice. Dump the ice into something else every hour, or so, and you will have plenty of ice to fill most work coolers.

Question:	Is there a specefic way to clean it
Answer:	There is a drain in the bottom. Drain water and I use a cloth with mild soap and water to wipe out interior. Very easy.

Answer:	water does NOT go in it drains out from the ac condenser., when running. It can be caught in the drain tank (which needs manually being empty when full) or threw drain hoses to a exterior drain . Those caps are for the hose drain to sewer disposal.
Question:	Is there a specific wsy to clean it
Answer:	The air hose yes, the drainage tube no. You only drain it when the light comes on to say the water tank is full.
