Answer:	I use this for storing frozen mice for my snakes. More hygienic (thus, less disgusting) than storing frozen feeder rodents (or raw poultry and other meat) with any of your family's foodstuffs that won't be cooked before they are eaten! The lack of an auto defrost feature is actually an advantage, since temperatures fluctuate little except when you are defrosting manually.

Question:	Can this be either a freezer or refrigerator
Answer:	I have the freezer. Amazon's questions on this particular item don't work correctly as I keep getting questions on the combo unit and not specifically the freezer. The freezer has its own item number, and the refridge/freezer combo has it's own part number. I love the FREEZER, but it was damaged in shipment 3 times! Finally kept the last one even though it was dented on the bottom as I was tired of dealing with shipment damage and the damage didn't show as much as the previous ones.

Answer:	it's wide enough for frozen pizza, plenty of room, i put all meat and chicken in there so ample amount of space, only thing I have noticed recently is if you put the freezer temp to low, the noise of the fan is very loud, after lowering the speed to (3 - 3.5) sound has decreased but not completely gone... fyi

Answer:	Yes it does have a lock, it works well. The only way this could be any better is if it were frost free.

Answer:	I have never completely filled the freezer with meat. Right now I have 2 medium pork loins, a 3 lb. package of bacon, a 3 lb bag of sausage patties, several 1 lb. rolls of ground beef, and a 2 lb. pkg. of ham. In addition to the meat, I have 3 pints of ice cream, a 1 lb. bag of pecans, a 1 lb. bag of walnuts, 5 bags of frozen vegetables and 2 bags of frozen berries. There is room for more, especially if you organize your freezer. I tend to just throw it in and make it fit.

Question:	What is the temperature Range
Answer:	Ours went down to -10 F after we plugged it in. We keep it at 0 F now. We had it set at "8" initially, but keep it at "6" now, so it could probably get colder than-10 F.
Question:	what do you have to do with a manual defrost freezer to make it free of frost
Answer:	These types of freezers tend to need defrosting about every 3 months. I take everything out of it and put it all in a big cooler or our inside freezer. Since we keep ours in the garage, I don't worry too much about making a mess. I turn it off, open the door, then use a hair dryer to quickly defrost it. Starting at the top shelf, I use the dryer to loosen up the frost and ice. Then I work my way down the freezer. Be certain to keep the hair dryer away from any water. Once you get it started, it goes pretty quickly. The whole process takes about 15 minutes and it's really fun to see the frost start to melt then fall off. Just pcikup the chunks from the floor and toss them in some type of container. Easy peasy!

Answer:	Mark, There are 4 shelves that are 13 inches deep by 18 inches wide. They are NOT moveable as the refrigerant circulates through them. (There is also a bottom space.) There are molded shelves on the door that are 4.5 inches deep by 16 inches wide. It is not frost-free !!! With the humidity we have here in Memphis, it begins to ice over rather quickly. Other than that, we are VERY pleased with it !!!
