Answer:	I have the freezer. Amazon's questions on this particular item don't work correctly as I keep getting questions on the combo unit and not specifically the freezer. The freezer has its own item number, and the refridge/freezer combo has it's own part number. I love the FREEZER, but it was damaged in shipment 3 times! Finally kept the last one even though it was dented on the bottom as I was tired of dealing with shipment damage and the damage didn't show as much as the previous ones.

Answer:	There is no locking mechanism, but it is a good grabber for my purposes.

Answer:	I wouldn’t recommend it. There are only 2 points of contact on this thing, and I don’t feel that you would be able to hold the trigger to hold the bulb and turn your grabber to install/uninstall bulbs. We used this grabber to pick up trash in our area, and honestly, the middle connector broke on the second use. It is definitely the prettiest grabber we bought, but didn’t hold up for our purposes.

Answer:	Yes it does have a lock, it works well. The only way this could be any better is if it were frost free.

Answer:	I have never completely filled the freezer with meat. Right now I have 2 medium pork loins, a 3 lb. package of bacon, a 3 lb bag of sausage patties, several 1 lb. rolls of ground beef, and a 2 lb. pkg. of ham. In addition to the meat, I have 3 pints of ice cream, a 1 lb. bag of pecans, a 1 lb. bag of walnuts, 5 bags of frozen vegetables and 2 bags of frozen berries. There is room for more, especially if you organize your freezer. I tend to just throw it in and make it fit.

Answer:	Hey, so I just put my tape on it. I would say it’s 31 7/16” as I saw it. So if you are 100% tied to your 31.5 measurement it may not work. That said, it has feet underneath which may or may not be removable which gives me enough room to put my fingertips underneath the freezer at the front. So it’s possible it will fit your space if you remove the feet. I can’t tell if the feet are actually removable but my guess is that based on your question; you could find a way to make that happen!!
