Answer:	Please make sure you have your mono block amps connected to the "PRE OUT" jacks on the back of the Marantz PM8006. It sounds like you might have them connected to the "audio out"? Audio out has a fixed output and won't be able to control volume using these jacks

Answer:	No, not to my knowledge. I bought this for myself as a sort of Christmas present. It has a very good phono stage but the only thing I miss about my old Kenwood amp is the mono/stereo switch. This will extract more information from a record, but also surface noise. I have the best results with a Shure cartridge and a very fine conical needle- an elliptical will create too much noise, especially if you have older "mono" records. Oddly, it will "run warm" when playing CD's so make certain it is well ventilated. It will shut itself off after a few minutes of "receiving no input signal", which is nice. Lastly, the three "tone" controls are not that significant and almost not needed.

Answer:	I was experiencing the same issue, even called Frigidaire and set up an appointment to see if I received the incorrect grates. After reading your question I took another look at my stove top and realized the grates were put on incorrectly when installed. Take your left grate and put on the right side and your right grate and put it on the left. That should level the grates and solve the problem.

Answer:	It really depends on the model of Hotpoint stove you have. I found a replacement for the 8" large and 6" small in the grocery store. I ordered drip pans on the Internet but they were not the exact size needed. Evidently the stove is an older model and the correct drip pans are no longer available.

Answer:	There are only 4 burners. There is nothing in the middle. The two front burners are larger than normal leaving no space for a grill. I use a large cast iron pan on front large burner and it much better than dealing with those awkward centre grills which aren't large enough to be useful on a 30 inch range. Oven is great.
