Answer:	The height is NOT adjustable...and since they are pretty hard plastic, I doubt that you could cut them without making sharp edges. I also have pedestals, but my cabinet in the laundry room is high enough so that there is plenty of room between the guard and the cabinet.

Question:	How does a cord keep the door from closing
Answer:	The Laundry Lasso "Bungee Effect" creates the tension that allows the door to stay flexible in order to prevent damage, while always returning the door to its preset position. Once the suctions are attached firmly (listen for the snap) to the front of the washing machine and the inside of the door, you can push the door in and it will not close. Answer:	Stephanie Thank you for your question. One suction cup attaches to the front of the front load washing machine. The other suction cup is placed on the inside of the glass washing machine door. The Laundry Lasso is then adjusted to your desired gap between washes. When it’s time to do the laundry simply release the suction cup on the door. The Laundry Lasso will then hang off the front of the washing machine ready to be used right after the wash is complete, then you simply re-attach to the inside of the door. Question:	Do you have to un-suction one to load the washing machine? I wish the one suction to washer door had a hook so I didn't have to redo it to wash stuff
Answer:	Thank you for your question. The suction cup that attaches to the door is removed to wash clothes and reattached when the washer is not in use. While doing a wash the Laundry Lasso stays firmly attached to the front of the machine, ready for use. Firmly pressing the nub on top of the suction cup against a flat surface of the door creates the vacuum seal that keeps the Laundry Lasso attached, allowing the door to mantain the desired gap while still being flexible and doing so in a way that does not damage the washing machine, the door hinges, or latches. Answer:	It does not smell like Tide detergent. I have breathing problems and the cleaner has a light clean smell. I have several dogs and wash there blankets and beds.
