| Answer: | I just put this in last week. You have to disassemble almost everything to get to it. You start @ the top, then you have to flip the washer and work from the bottom. There is a real good “you tube” video on how to do it but it isn’t nearly as easy as it shows. A big problem I found is the agitator (located in the bottom of the drum) would NOT come out for anything. You are supposed to unscrew 1 bolt and the agitator should lift off. I tried for 4 hours before I had to use a grinder and cut it out. So then I had to buy a new agitator. I also had to buy @ 38mm but to remove the clutch. Thank goodness I had a heavy duty impact wrench. So after I got the agitator off, turned the washer on it’s back and worked from the bottom, it took 2 people to get the clutch out. I held while my husband “ whacked” with a hammer to get the part out. Once everything was out it was a easy job to put it all back together. I spent a total of $245 for parts but better than getting a new one. |
