Answer:	Thank you for your question. If the seller made the promise that the unit would work with your current toilet, you should be able to contact them for return options. If the MFG made this promise, it's possible they just assumed. There are a lot of different styles, brands of raised toilets and even more in toilet options. It's difficult to say if any one toilet would be perfect for any raised seat. Your best option would be to know your toilet model and visit your local hardware store for options.
Question:	Could this be used to filter both sink faucet and ice maker
Answer:	Only two places you can put the washers... before you put the screws in the holes or after before you thread the bolts on ...hope that helps.
Question:	Does this filter, filter out fluroude
Answer:	The riser bolts down to the toilet using bolts that pass through to also mount the toilet seat. So, the riser stays securely in place when you raise the seat (just like it's part of the toilet bowl). However, the riser can not be raised for cleaning under the riser without unbolting it.

Answer:	I am on city water, we get lots of calcium scale. So I am using a calcium filter right after the meter (to keep scale out of all my pipes) then a carbon under sink filter for taste. I don't care if my boiler or toilet water tastes good, but want better taste out of the sink, dishwasher, ect.
Question:	If the valve is in the 'off' or 'bypass' position can you change the filter without having water spray everywhere
Answer:	If you use the right Carbon filter with this housing, it will reduce lead. As sold here, it will not. In a water purification system for drinking water, you would want one prefilter stage (like this) and at least one carbon filter stage (this housing with a good carbon filter would work). Your flow rate, intended use, and other factors will affect which system you should choose. This is sold as a whole-house filter, not a drinking water system.

Answer:	It uses the standard 10 inch filters that are pretty much universally available including Dupont, Culligan, Micronex, and many others.

Answer:	Any standard 10" replacement cartridge can be used with this filter housing. The "Frequently Bought Together" section has a sample of filters available. I use a sentiment cartridge ahead of a charcoal cartridge (in 2 separate filter housings) to remove particulates and odors from my water. Works very well.

If you have already purchased the UC-200 and its 15" height makes it too tall, we'd be happy to exchange a couple UC-50 Model units that are shorter in height (or a full refund of course). Answer:	Hello Daniel, great questions thanks for asking! The KDF-55 Media creates a bacteriostatic environment within the filtration system, preventing microbial growth. The oxidation/reduction potential (ORP) shift by a factor of -300mV or more for water filtered through KDF redox media controls microorganism growth. Treating water reduces bacteria and other microorganisms by disrupting electron transport, causing cellular damage. KDF process media also kill bacteria by direct electrochemical contact and by the flash formation of hydroxyl radicals and hydrogen peroxide, both of which interfere with a microorganism's ability to function. When it comes to fluoride, it only reduces the levels by 20-30% on average, not a high enough percentage for us to claim as a benefit.

Answer:	The 5-year expected life of the EPINL30 is based on a maximum usage of 1500 gallons annually. High levels of sediment or iron in the water supply may clog the filter and reduce its life.
Question:	does this work for septic systems
Answer:	The filter housing alone is 10 inches long.
Question:	How frequent I have to change filter
Answer:	I would just use a strong tape. Mine is just on the floor next to it to keep the refrigerator closest to the wall.

Answer:	I have it installed on my home toilet, a Kohler ADA height toilet. I think description says commercial because it will fit any elongated toilet that has the correct bolt hole width.
Question:	Does this mounting mechanism accept 1/4 females for input and output, or does it use copper tubing
Answer:	No! Each of the seats are designed to safely and securely install on the rim of the porcelain bowl. Stick to a round seat for a round bowl. When you install it you'll see where the bumpers are that rest on the edge of the bowl, and then you'll understand it's just not safe to use the elongated on a round bowl...especially when you're hiking up the toilet seat height. Take care.
Question:	can this be installed horizontally rather than vertically
Answer:	There is obviously a different look, but it isn't bad. If you squat down to toilet-seat height, you see the full difference, but when you walk into the bathroom and are basically looking down toward the toilet, you don't notice it so much. Don't get me wrong, you see the difference, but it isn't distracting. I bought this for my elderly parents and the different look is more than offset by the value of the higher seat.

Turn off the cold water valve and turn on the faucet to ensure that there is no residual water.

Reduce the cold water hose from the cold water valve.

Question:	Just received. It appears a lot of water bypasses the filter, can someone confirm this is not the case? Mine is just like customer uploaded photo
Answer:	Not a filter, a water treatment cartridge. Rated at 10gpm by the manufacture, a small amount of the water flow is diverted down into the cartridge through a single hole in the elevated tab, in the center of the tee. The polyphosate is slowly dissolved and a small amount of treated water flows back up and out 3 small holes around the elevated tab. According to the manufacture it only takes 2-3 parts per million to treat for scale. A little bit will do ya.
Question:	Does this help with water spots on glasses and scaling on bathroom fixtures
Answer:	We have a lot of calcium in our well water. The heat from the hot water tank is what causes the minerals to form scale. We placed this on the cold water side of the hot water tank and noticed a big improvement in water quality, especially on shower doors and dish washer. I have changed it twice now. The first time at 3 mos because the info says it can clean up existing scale in pipes and fixtures. The bottom line is if your water is very hard that will affect how much benefit you get from this product. So will you be happy with a 50% improvement in quality? I know I am cleaning faucet screens a lot less. Still have a jug of vinegar around though! Hope this helps.

Answer:	we have an electric tank less that is rated at 4.5 GPM. We have very hard water in this part of MA and also have a well. We have been in this house for 30 years and have had problems with pipes rotting away. When we installed the electric tank less we installed this filter also. We used the heater for a few months and than had the plumber perform the maintenance suggested by the tank less mfg. It was clean as a whistle. Our flow rate is not as high as yours but if you had one in line with each heater - i would think it would work fine. Our heater used 120A for 4.5 GPM - if yours is electric it most use a lot of power! For our use I am very satisfied with the filter and given our water quality situation and how clean the heater was - i would highly recommend this filter.KR in MA

Answer:	In my opinion, if this is collecting any particles before getting into Tankless water heater, the particle should fall in vertical direction so filter should be installed in vertical direction. Question:	What is the filter medium? If carbon, what kind? What is it derived from
Answer:	There is enough room to put hand behind you. Seat will slide some toward front of seat. For price, it is a good deal. Unless you need rails.
Question:	Does chloramine reduce life of filter? What is level of chloramine filtering (not sure if taste/odor removal means near complete removal of chlorine
Answer:	It doesn't have arms. But it elavatates seat, it helped me sit easier.
Question:	Can this System be mounted horizontal
Answer:	It does state that it will work for both standard and elongated seats.
Question:	How is its pressure? Will pressure from cold water faucet be the same with this filter attached or less
Answer:	Are the screws or whatever secures the seat onto a porcelain toilet, plastic? AND do the screws loosen up as you use the seat? much like an ordinary cheap toilet seat with plastic screws? If this is so, this will result in the toilet seat sliding around and cause serious injury to an already injured person...can those of you who've answered questions and who have used this seat answer my question? This is truly vital to ensure the safety of the one using it.

Question:	Is this filter an epinl20 or epinl
Answer:	No. Top and bottom rails have to be cut to length, then assembled with side rails in tub enclosure. Glass door hardware then has to be put on doors, and doors put in place. Assembly is not hard but several things are critical. Make sure top and bottom rails are measured and cut SEPARATELY, top and bottom measurements can vary significantly. Do not cut side rails. Have a ceramic drill bit if you have to drill through tile, do not use standard drill bit. Do not drill bottom rail into tub, use silicone to secure it in place.
Question:	How many gallons of water is this good for

Question:	How long is the filter without the fittings
Answer:	Top and bottom track, (top track has 2 different profiles and can be presented in 2 different looks). 2 thick heavy glass doors. Screws to attach the side tracks, 2 side(vertical) tracks with bumpers. The handles that affix to the doors. The only thing mine didn’t come with is the silicone caulking which is required for installation.
Question:	What is the best way to mount the filter to the back of the refrigerator
Answer:	My 5’ shower is 58 3/4” from sheet rock to Sheetrock and the inside wall of the shower to inside wall( which is where the shower tracks mount to)is 563/4” and my door overlap is 41/2”

Micron Rating Explanation

Micron ratings are used in water filtration to refer to how small the particulates such as sand, silt, and sediment are that are removed by the filter.
