Question:	What is the circumference? Looking for a solution to put around my water softener in a tight space, just to catch water if issue
Answer:	I doubt that you really meant "circumference". The interior isn't exactly circular, and the flat part of the bottom is smaller that the rim. The rim is a circle about 19" in DIAMETER. I estimate that we lose 1.5" on each side from rim and taper, so the bottom would be 13" in diameter if it was actually round. But the circle is truncated by about another 2". I think a softener tank 11" in diameter would fit OK. I don't know if the ribs in the bottom could support a full softener, which probably weighs over 100 lbs when full. With a tank sitting in it, this would only hold a gallon or so before overflowing. Why not buy a catch pan for water heaters and run a pipe or hose to your floor drain?

Answer:	Used it for oil, trans and diff fluid changes. No splashing. Very pleased with the purchase. Definitely recommend.

Answer:	I wipe it with a few paper towel s after emptying the pan. Can't even tell its been used.

Answer:	No, it is manufactured in Taiwan. Taiwan is definitely not China given that they're a staunch ally of the US and literally at an armed standoff with China, so no one should have any qualms buying this rather thoughtfully designed and well made drain pan. Mine is rather full and heavy after I've drained the oil from the diesel engine in my truck, and it doesn't flex while handling and pouring the used oil into multiple containers for transport to our local recycling center. I'd definitely buy another one if I had the need for it.

Answer:	Inner spokes/raised ridges seem to be uniform height from end to end. Maybe about 1/4” or 3/8” high, but no change from outside to inside.

Answer:	I don't see why not. That is a great idea. The front is visible under the washing machine. If you don't mind that that would catch anything that would happen to leak instead of it running out on the kitchen floor. Be aware that the inside dimensions of this plastic pan where the washer fits: 26¾" X 28½". It was a tight fit in width, depth is fine but it has worked out great. No more soaked floors as it is piped to a drain in the basement. This is being used with an apartment sized stacked washer/dryer unit. I had help lifting it up to slide the pan under, then slid both the pan and washer into place. I, too, also installed a water alarm just to be on the safe side. Hope that answered your question.

Answer:	Actually, I disagree with the others who answered this question. Obviously this product is not designed for this. But you appear to be someone who comes up with “Innovative“ solutions. I think this depends on HOW it is used, the specific situation, and location. Just off the top of my head, you would have to consider things like: how it fits in the bottom of your shower area; is there extra space around the pan where water would leak out?; Which leads to how you would keep the shower water in the pan; (water that missed the pan and was standing around the signs or got underneath the pan would lead to probably a nasty mold); also the pan is not designed to be particularly sturdy because it’s not designed to be picked up when full of water and dumped. It has a connection for a drain hose that you might find useful. But I agree that the plastic itself is flimsy. If you were to step on the edge accidentally while showering it would undoubtedly crack and break. And of course as it is a drain pan designed to go underneath an appliance, it would need to be placed on a hard flat surface- with no holes or gaps underneath it for your foot to punch through. 😬 So my opinion is, if you think you’ve considered all of the situations, this might be a cheap alternative to fit your needs. But of course I’m sure there must be camper supply stores that would have something more precise. If I thought it would work, I’d be crazy enough to try it. But don’t quote me on that. LOL

Answer:	I attached a PVC outlet in the hole. Then a hose clamp over a clear plastic tube. There isn't any kind of thread to screw a hose to. You can easily put whatever you want in there for an outlet

Is there anything wrong with the ac unit? Check instructions for the placement of your unit. I believe that some units may need to be slightly slanted towards the outdoors so that the unit does properly drain. Another idea put a board (approx 1" thick) in the window sill channel so that the ac unit is raised; this could also direct the water outside instead of collecting in the window sill. If this drain pan is the correct size you would elevate the unit slightly off the floor of the pan and attach a garden hose to the drain opening so that as the pan fills the water will exit through the hose
